The president’s Poland, the first lady, the country’s chief of staff and some of Poland’s highest ranking military and civilian leaders, all killed in a fiery plane crash in Russia. New details tonight on this developing story, I am Harris Volker in for Julie Vanderas. This is Fox report.
We’re told the plane burst into flames just moments after trying to land in what’s described as dense fog, leaving no survivors. And now we’re learning air traffic controllers reportedly told the pilot to land somewhere else. But those warnings were apparently ignored. Tonight, a nation in mourning as investigators search for answers.

Well another breaking new story we’ve been following this morning. The president of Poland is among those who died today when a Polish jetliner crashed on landing in Russia! All 96 people on board were killed. NBC’s TOM ASPELL joins us now from LONDON with the latest. Tom, good morning!
Good morning, Amy, The TUPLOP 154 airplane crashed in thick fog in Russia killing all 96 people on board including Polish President LECH KASINSKI and his wife MARIA. Local official said the plane caught fire after it hit the ground. Rescue teams attempted to pull passengers out of the wreckage, but there were no survivors.
