Kentucky. New information on a deadly crash where 11 people died outside of Bowling Green. Police say a tractor trailer truck crossed the median중간 on Interstate 65 slamming into a van carrying a family. Investigators say the barriers aren’t meant to stop a truck that large and say they’re also looking into the company that owns the truck that caused the accident. Family and friends are devastated. The family was traveling to a wedding in Iowa.
Washington State. Thieves completely cleaning out a gun store in Lynnwood and the loot장물 includes dozens of firearms. The store owner says it looks like the crooks도둑 used a tunnel to get inside the shop. Display cases are now empty. And the worry is these stolen guns are now out on the street. Police say the store did not have surveillance cameras.
California. Police say this pelican attacked by a fisherman in New Port Beach is lucky to be alive after its beak부리 was busted. “This actually broke here.” Police say it all started when the pelican nabbed some of the fisherman’s catch gobbling게걸스럽게 먹다 it up. The fisherman allegedly got upset and started stumping발로 차다 on the pelican. The fisherman’s now been charged with animal cruelty. The pelican is recovering at the wild life care center.
Colorado. Four Otters수달 escaped from their home at a Colorado Springs zoo. The two trout송어 eating Otters were caught and so was a third Otter, but the fourth unfortunately left the zoo by squeezing through the main fence. Zoo keepers are still hopeful to find him and say the 25 pound Otter isn’t dangerous. And that’s a FOX Watch Across America.
A California college overrun by rabbits. School officials say for years people who got sick of the rabbits just dumped them at the campus. Well, now there’s an aggressive campaign to catch the rabbits, put up the bunnies for adoption. The campus has been home to rabbits for years. The rabbits were already there when the college was built in 1935. A recent count has 300 hopping around with 100 bunnies already caught.
Well, the human species may have found a long lost cousin. Scientists in Germany making the discovery through the genetic testing of the pinkie finger of a child. The bone found in this cave in Siberia in central Asia. The tiny fossil is about 40000 years old. Researchers giving the new specimen the nickname X woman. Researchers say the new species share a common ancestor with modern humans. If confirmed, the discovery will mark the first time that a new human species has been identified only through DNA testing.
