This is the new iPhone.” Turns out an Apple engineer left the phone behind in a bar. Police broke down Jason Chan’s door searching for evidence of theft. But for all the secrets Chan discovered, Job still had some surprises. “Hey, Johnny? How’re you doing?”

And Apple CEO Steve Jobs unveiled the new iPhone today, but not everything went exactly as planned. Neal Kalenski was there. Three years after reinventing the cell phone with the first iPhone, Apple Chief Steve Jobs did his best to raise the bar once again with what he calls iPhone 4.

 

It’s a little bit heavier and it’s thinner. But in addition to having a better camera, a flash and an HD video camera, the thing that really has everyone talking here is the face-to-face phone calls.

But even Jobs himself isn’t immune to the problems that plagued the rest of us. “Well, gees, I don’t like this.” On stage, he was forced to stop his demo because the Wi-Fi network was overloaded. “We’re having a little problem here.” The new iPhone faces Google powered Android phones which are gaining market share already.
