Today, President Bush responded to the allegation saying it’s the first he’s heard about it. So we begin our coverage tonight with Steve Kroft. Hey, Steve?

 

Hi, Katie? President Bush has praised Pakistan’s cooperation in the war on terror. But according to President Musharraf, it began the day after 9/11 with a threat from then 그 당시의 Deputy Secretary of State 국무차관, Richard Armitage. What did Armitage say to your director of Intelligence 국가정보국장 right after September 11^th? “The director of Intelligence told me that he said, ‘Be prepared to be bombed. To be prepared to go back to the Stone Age.’”

 

Armitage disputes 논하다, 논박하다 the exact language, but doesn’t deny that the message was strong. Musharraf says he believes his director of Intelligence and says he took it as a threat.
