You see them everywhere on TV in store shelves. Those energy products that claim to give you a boost증가 with health benefits at the same time, but they’re often loaded with unwanted calorie, sugar and carb탄수화물. So which ones give you the best boost for your buck기운? Sherine Richter is a registered dietitian.She has all the answers and she joins us here this morning. How are you, Sherine? I’m great. I’m good. Okay. So 50%.... let’s get right into this. 50% of Americans drink coffee for that morning boost. But you say you don’t necessarily need coffee. There’s some…..there’s a better alternative. Absolutely! So one of the things that I recommend is, has a small amount of caffeine from green tea which has wonderful antioxidants노화방지제 in it. It’s going to give you energy. It’s going to help with recovery.

 

Okay. So now we go through the morning. It’s mid-morning between 10 and 12. Your stomach starts growling으르릉. And you want to reach for something. Well, one of the bars that I’d like to get is on the Flavor & Fiber. Oh, wait, I’m sorry. I’ve never tried anything on these segments. So……um….. What do you think? This…..wow, that’s really good. That’s really good. Good antioxidants in it for good. Yeah, Okay, keep going. Now I actually like to eat the food in this segment. So you want to make sure that we’re getting some fiber. So we’re going to stay hungry and full. Okay. I like these bars because I know every ingredient that’s in them.

 

Okay. Now you’re going to get ready to go to the gym. You want to put a little something in your mouth to give a little bit of a boost before you work out. Exactly. Freeze-dried fruit actually has the exact same amount of sugar as fresh fruit. Oh, Okay. So now you’re at the gym. I see people either carrying water or carrying some of the high sugar energy drinks. Is there something in between that you don’t have to get all that sugar? This is my favorite. I love this coconut water. It’s been around for years. Okay. Amazing. It has electrolytes전해액 in it. It actually has more potentiate약효 than the banana in it. So you’re going to replenish보충하다 your body as you’re working out.

 

I love this new packaging cause you can reseal the bottle in it. I love coconut water. I swear by and it tastes good. Okay. Now what about a post drink after a workout? Cause that’s already important. No one really knows what you want to drink after a workout. So this is my new favorite. Post drink Code Blue, electrolytes, three times electrolytes than most sports drinks.
