한미 연합 훈련-1

Secretary of State Hilary Clinton promising firm solidarity with South Korea as tensions intensify with the North. Secretary Clinton returning to Washington this morning following a diplomatic mission to Southeast Asia. She indicates military exercises involving American and South Korean naval forces will go on as scheduled despite threats of, quote, nuclear response from Pyoung Yang. North Korea leaders vows to wage a, quote, sacred war if those maneuvers begin tomorrow. Fox’s Malini Wilkes has more from Washington.

In its latest outburst against the US, North Korea pledges a nuclear response to joint US-South Korea military drills that begin tomorrow. The North regularly threatens war before these joint exercises like this one back in March. Tomorrow begins a four day display of US-South Korean solidarity with 8,000 troops plus ships, submarines and fighter jets. North Korea responded on state TV. The army and people of North Korea will legitimately정당하게 counter with their powerful nuclear deterrence. The largest ever nuclear exercises to be staged by the US and the South Korean puppet forces.

The US accuses the North of sinking a South Korean warship, the Cheonan, back in march, and says the joint drills are a message to Pyoung Yang to stop its provocative behavior. The North denies it was responsible. But Secretary of State Hilary Clinton announced new US sanctions against the North this week after visiting the demilitarized zone between the two Koreas. The sanctions apparently both a warning to Pyoung Yang to limit its nuclear ambitions and punishment for attacking the ship.

Clinton continued her criticism of the North in Vietnam yesterday. “We regret and condemn the actions of North Korea, the belligerence호전성, the provocation도발, the sinking of the South Korean ship Cheonan. The destabilizing effect that that has in northeast Asia.” Clinton says the door to diplomacy remains open if the North gives up its nuclear weapons.
