The White House says the New York Times story that claims US military leaders are considering plans for troop withdrawal 철수 is flat 전적인, 명백한 wrong. The Times says the head of the US-led forces in Iraq is working with the US ambassador 대사 to that country. The paper says the two are coming up with 안출하다, 제안하다 a plan that could set milestones 이정표 for Iraq to disarm 무력하게 하다 militia groups and meet other political and economic goals.

Gasoline prices, they’re still falling. The national Lundberg survey says the average price of self-serve regular fell nearly $.08 a gallon in the last two weeks to $2.20 a gallon, and that’s down $.82 since August 11th.

The President Bush still insists he will not set any kind of timetable 예정표, 계획표 for US withdrawal. And as White House correspondent Elaine Keanu explains, the administration is taking issue with 이의를 제기하다 a recent newspaper article that says differently.
It’s been part of President Bush’s Iraq mantra 슬로건, 모토 for months. “You can’t win a war if you have an artificial timetable for withdrawal. Many advocating an artificial timetable for withdrawing our troops are sincere, but I believe they’re sincerely wrong.”
But the New York Times citing senior US officials, reports that the Bush administration is drafting 초안을 작성하다, 기초하다 a timetable for the Iraqi government to address 다루다, 처리하다 sectarian 분파의 divisions and take on 맡아서 경영하다 more of the country’s security responsibilities. A White House spokeswoman said this story is not accurate.
