파키스탄, 폭격으로 최대인원 사망

Good evening, Brian? NBC news has learned that the US had a major role in this operation. And with 80 dead, that makes this the largest number of suspected militants ever killed in a single counter-terrorist attack.

US officials tell NBC News the attack was carried out 실행하다 by a CIA predator drone 무인 정찰기 armed with hellfire missiles and nearly a dozen Pakistani attack helicopters 공격용 헬리콥터. The predawn 동트기 전의 air strike destroyed much of the Madrassa compound, a militant 호전적인 Islamic religious school in northwest Pakistan. A stack of 다량의 korans was all that survived in one building.

The bodies of the 80 killed in the assault 급습, 맹습 were lined up for mass burial. Local militants claimed they were innocent religious students. All males ages 15 to 25. But a Pakistani military official said the Madrassa was targeted because it was being used as a terrorist training camp and those killed were not innocent worshippers.

The attack brought out thousands of protesters throughout Pakistan, burning the American flag, shouting, “Down with ~ 타도하라 America! Down with Musharraf!” the assault was similar to predator air strikes that tried to killed Al Qaeda’s number two, Ayman al-Zawahiri, in nearby Damadola last January. US officials insist Zawahiri was not today’s target.

But the attack was aimed at several other top Al Qaeda deputies 부관, including Phakil Muhammad who barely escaped today’s attack. “Even though we’ve killed many jihadists in this most recent attack, Al Qaeda’s operational tempo against US forces inside Afghanistan is gonna remain high.”
