Deadly storms in the US

Good evening? Over the past 24 hours and continuing into this evening, Americans have been frightened, in some cases, awakened by the sound of sirens, often then followed by a terrible roar 사자나 천둥이 우르릉하는 소리 and then massive destruction. Over 60 tornados have touched down now in 7 different states. Tonight, across a wide swath 긴 행렬 of the central part of the country, over 2 dozen people are now dead and 70 people have been injured as a result. Tonight, you can still see it, still a violent line of weather cutting that part of the country in half from north to south. And if this is any indication 징조, 조짐 of the power of this coming season, we may all be in trouble.

A federal jury in Alexandria, Virginia has found Zacarias Moussaoui is eligible for ~에 적격인 the death penalty. Moussaoui has confessed to <죄·과실 등을> 자백하다, 시인하다 being an Al Qaeda conspirator 공모자, 음모자. He is the only person to be charged 기소된 in the US in connection with the September 11^th attacks. A court reconvenes 다시 소집<집합>하다 Thursday to determine whether he will actually be put to death.

Fire fighters now have a 6-alarm fire at a downtown warehouse in Stanford, Connecticut under control. It started earlier this afternoon in a building encompassing 둘러<에워>싸다 most of a city block. Everyone’s been evacuated and no injuries are reported.

 

Wicked weather in Midwest

Well, 27 people are dead after violent storms moved across the central US. The thunderstorms spawned 낳다 dozens of tornados, large hail 우박, and even powerful winds yesterday. Today, the storm system is moving eastward across several southern states.
