And the world's powers will be well represented here. Russia's Evigeni Plushenko has been an individual Olympic champion before winning Gold at the 2006 Torino games. But after coming up just short in Vancouver, taking home sliver, this hometown hero is looking to keep the golden street going. So is Russia on a role or will another skier be able to grab the gold? Patrick of Chen Canada could be the one to be! Now a 3 time World Champion, Chen is said to be the top contender in this crowded competitive fields. But chasing down Chen is Japan's Yuzuro Hanyu. He was a top skater in last week's team event short program beating both Rechenko and Chen taking first place. Another to keep an eye on is Spanish sensation Havia Fernandez, the reigning and two time European champion and 2013 world bronze medalist. And then, there are the American Jeremy Avit and Jason Brown. Jeremy, the strong skater who has won 4 US titles, but struggled here in Sochi in last week's team competition
