It’s been a dark and rainy day on Wall Street, but there is no shortage of Christmas cheer. “It’s been a very good year.” No kidding! At 26,000 employees worldwide, that’s an average of $623,000 per worker.

 

And that’s just one company. Douglas Millar would rather we not say which investment firm he works for or how big a bonus he’s getting, but it’s big. “I worked very hard this year. Everyone in my group worked very hard and it should be good for everyone.”

 

Not all bonuses are created equal.
