동성결혼 합법화 논란

 

Hello, everybody? I’m Jane Skinner. The same sex marriage controversy is heating up again in the Bay State 미국 Massachusetts주의 속칭. Lawmakers are in the final day of the current session, voting for a constitutional amendment 헌법개정 that defines marriage as only between a man and a woman. Crowds of same sex marriage supporters and opponents had demonstrated outside the statehouse 주의회 의사당 in Boston as lawmakers prepare to vote.

Several communities along Virginia’s Dan River are under a flood warning today. Drenching 억수로 쏟아지는 rains pushing the river over its banks. They have forced Dan River businesses and homes to be evacuated 대피하다. The National Weather Service says the river should fall below flood stage 고수위, by tomorrow. But the flood warning continues at south Boston through Thursday.

 

Talk show host Oprah Winfrey is keeping a promise she made to former South African President Nelson Mandela. She opened the school for poor and talented South African girls in a small town in…near south Johannesburg. The school will be known as the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for girls. Eventually, the $ 40 million academy will accommodate 수용하다 450 girls.
