now taking place around the world.

But it ended in disaster.

almost immediately after taking the drug.
Now he calls himself a lucky survivor of a game of medical Russian roulette.
The trial began as a hopeful look at a cutting edge 최첨단의 biotech 생명공학 treatment for leukemia 백혈병
using so called monoclonal antibodies 단일 클론 항체,
antibodies made in the lab to fight cancer.
A successful breast cancer drug Herceptin is one example.
The German company TeGenero manufactured the drug,
the American testing firm Parexel supervised 감독하다 the trial.
Tonight, doctors say 4 patients are showing some signs of improvement.
But 2 remain in critical 위독한 condition.
