Deputy attorney general 법무차관 Paul McNulty is the highest ranking official to step down 사임하다 in the fallout over the firings of several US attorneys. His resignation will be effective late this summer. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales who admits the firings were poorly handled says he will not be stepping down.
The Coca-Cola Company is offering a settlement 해결, 화해 over claims its ingredients 성분, 원료 in two of its soft drinks form the cancer causing chemical benzene. The company will give replacement drinks to anyone who bought Fanta Pineapple or Malt Zero before September 2006.
