미국, 참전용사의 기념

 

Well, hello to you on Veteran’s Day. And I thank you so much to all of you who are in the military and who have served in the military and your families for the sacrifices 희생 you’ve made for us on this set day. We want to honor you. And we do want to get you the latest news as we’ve been following police in Pembroke Pines, Florida. They’re looking for two people right now who stole a bag of money from an armored 장갑한 truck security guard.

 

Police reportedly recovered that, but they stormed 습격하다 this suspicious 의심스러운 vehicle didn’t appear there was anyone inside. But there was a bullet hole in the back window, so they apparently <확실하지 않지만> ~ 같은 thought a suspect might be wounded and still in that vehicle. Now, I want to show you some tape taken earlier at a Citco station where this robbery 강도사건 took place. One guard was shot and transported 수송하다 to a local hospital.

 

A federal criminal investigation is being conducted into last week’s oil spill 유출 in San Francisco Bay. Right now, California officials are trying to get a handle on ~ 해결하다 cleaning up that spill and Vince Gonzales has more on their efforts.

 

Federal officials have taken over 인계 받다, 떠맡다 the investigation of the 58,000 gallon San Francisco oil spill and say early indications 암시 are, it was caused by human error, not mechanical failure 고장 as originally thought. Senator Diane Feinstein says there is no excuse for the ship hitting a support tower of the San Francisco Oakland Bay Bridge.

 

The spill has already affected the local economy. The swimming portion of a planned triathlon <수영, 자전거, 마라톤> 3 경기 was cancelled. So was the local sports fishing season. Local crab season has been delayed indefinitely 무기한으로. Vince Gonzales, for CNN in Los Angeles.

 

Meanwhile, Russia is conducting a rescue and clean-up operation in the Black Sea. Ferocious 사나운 storms had sunk several ships including an oil tanker. At least 5 sailors are dead. 20 are still missing. The oil tanker split in two, spilling more than 1 million gallons of fuel. This happened yesterday. And a Russian environmentalist says it could take as many as 15 years to clean up that mess.
