Well, let’s head out to Hollywood now for a look at one big reason why we see Hollywood the way we do. The magazine US Weekly. Perhaps most famous for its just like us feature. Pictures of celebrities 유명 연예인, 명사 walking their dogs or buying coffee. But how do those editors 편집장 decide which celebrity news is news? Well, Bill Weir went inside US Weekly to find out.

 

Kanye West, flashing lights <가수 Kanye West> 노래제품, fitting 맞는 soundtrack for the red carpets of LA and New York. Where a person’s value is measured in flashes and shouts. In person, these poses look ridiculously 우스꽝스럽게 unnatural. But they’re not intended for the hundreds here. They are posing for the millions out there. Because if they’re hot enough and dressed well enough, one of these flash-lit moments might just end up <구어> 마침내 <으로> 되다 on the pages of US Weekly.

 

And on a Manhattan morning, a woman who decides who will be worthy this week arrives at the office. She is the editor-in-chief <신문, 잡지의> 편집장, 편집주간 Janice Min, a 38-year-old mother of 2, a graduate of Columbia’s prestigious journalism school. Each week, she sets out to show the women of America who and what is in.

 

A generation ago, we never saw this side of our icons. There were no pictures of Bogart buying toilet paper, or Bacall <로렌 바콜> 영화배우 working off <체중> <운동 으로> 줄이다, 서서히 제거하다 the baby fat 유아지방. And no one knew that Tracy and Hepburn were having an affair. But in the age of reality TV, anyone can be a celebrity. And with sources like US Weekly, Americans can discuss the intimate details of celebrity lives.
