Meet Chris Yeager. He’s an event planner in Los Angeles putting on fancy bashes <속어> 거대한 파티 for movie studios and corporations. That’s forced Yeager to cut down on 줄이다 expensive items like flowers. “And did you get me a better price?” He’s also had to cut some of his staff. “I am hiring less people and I’m also thinking smarter, how I can do with less people.”
“I am on the phone, trying to get work.” Joanne O’Brien was one of the first people Yeager would call to help with his parties. He’s hiring less, so she’s working less. “I had to completely blow 낭비하다 through my savings. I have no savings left.”
O’Brian cancelled her gym membership, skips the movies on Friday nights and walks to work to save on gas. She also cut out trips to this upscale 돈 많은 소비자의 마음에 드는 beauty salon. “When I talk to people, they are cutting back.” Where Megan Gibbons used to do her eyebrows. She’s seeing fewer customers and less tip money. “I am making coffee at home instead of buying it when I get to work. And I bring my lunch. I try to bring my lunch everyday.”
