From America's news room, I'm Lauren Green. 24 counties 군, <state바로 밑의 행정단위> in Iowa are now federal disaster areas 연방재난지역 as the state deals with the record flooding. 36,000 people have been forced from their homes, at least three deaths have been blamed ~에게 ~의 책임을 지우다 on the flooding.

 

A bit of relief 구제, 구원 coming as water levels have started going down more than a day earlier than expected. But a wall of sandbags failed to protect the University of Iowa. The university's president saying 16 buildings have been flooded by the Iowa River.

The average price for a gallon of gas hitting another new record at $4.08. That's according to a survey by the AAA 미 자동차 협회. The highest gas prices found in California, the lowest in Missouri.
