Sad news to report. Former White House Press Secretary 전 백악관 대변인 Tony Snow has lost his second battle with cancer. White House Press Secretary <특히 대통령 등의> 대변인, 공보 비서관 Dana Perino confirmed reports that Snow has died. And said the White House was deeply saddened by the loss. Snow served 17 months as President Bush’s chief spokesman.

 

He was also a conservative <정치적으로> 보수적인 TV commentator 논평자, 시사 해설자 and most recently worked for CNN. Snow had his colon 결장 removed in 2005, but the cancer later returned and spread to his liver 간. He had left the spotlight vowing to beat cancer again. Snow is survived by his wife Jill, one son, and two daughters. Tony Snow was 53.

 

The Senate passed a foreclosure 주택차압 rescue bill 법안 yesterday. But its future is still uncertain. Now bill would help homeowners get more affordable fixed rate mortgages 주택담보대출. It is also designed to help banks facing big losses in the mortgage market. Now, despite the wide support in the Senate, the bill is facing a rewrite 고쳐 씀 in the House <미> 하원. And President Bush has promised to veto <제안·의안 등을> 거부하다 it unless it undergoes 겪다, 경험하다 major changes.
