Good evening. Katie is off tonight. They were heading off on a summer vacation. Looking forward to a visit to the Canary Islands 아프리카 북서 해안 가까이 위치, 스페인, but their plane never made it into the air. A Spanish jetliner attempting a take-off from Madrid today, crashed in flames at the end of the runway. There were more than 170 people on board. More than 150 of them died. Nancy Cordes covers transportation for CBS News and has our report.

 

Spanair flight 5022 had problems right from the start. Abandoning 그만두다 its first take-off attempt from Madrid because of a technical problem. It was on the second take-off attempt that witnesses say the left engine caught fire.
