It’s not always easy, but we’ve got a big story here, Matt. The 4-day democratic convention 민주당 전당대회 opens today and with polls showing Barack Obama and John McCain neck and neck 접전하여. The democrats aren’t just looking for convention bounce 활기, 튀어오름 here, they need it to build momentum 힘, 여세.

 

Spending Sunday in Wisconsin, the presumptive 추정에 바탕을 둔 nominee attended church. The anticipation is growing and all eyes are on the message. “What Obama is hoping for out of this week is a redefinition 재정의 of himself and his campaign that is lasting and that is appealing to the American people.”

 

Monday kicks off 시작하다 with Barack Obama’s life story. Michelle Obama will speak in prime time. Tuesday will be all about the economy. But with Hillary Clinton speaking in prime time, the question is, what would she say to her supporters whose votes Obama desperately 필사적으로 needs, some of whom are angry she is not the VP pick. “If she’s miffed ~을 화나게 하다, if she sends signals that she doesn’t like Obama, it’ll slow down what he needs to do.”

 

On Wednesday Bill Clinton, whose support for the Obama campaign has been lukewarm 미적지근한, will attempt to work his magic again before the party faithful. Ex-presidents aside, the night will belong to Obama’s newly minted 만들어내다 running mate, Joe Biden whose speech is to focus on veterans.

 

All this leading up to what will be Obama’s acceptance speech on Thursday as the first African American nominated to be president. He will take his central message of change you can believe in to more than 70,000 at Invesco Field.
