At the hotels, gunmen reportedly took at least a dozen hostages. This man managed to 용케 ~해내다 escape. “And the two gunmen came in with two guns. Lots of smoke and firing guns and took us to the 18th floor. They wanted anyone with British or American passports.”
But as Indian commandos 특공대 moved in for a rescue, the Taj Mahal caught fire 불붙다. A photograph showed one of the roughly 20 gunmen who attacked the city. Clearly shaven, carrying a bag pack and AK-47, looking very young. But Indian officials describe this as a professional and highly coordinated terrorist attack.
