Mystery pilot on the run

This is Lou Dobbs Tonight. News, debate, and opinion for Tuesday, January 13th, live from New York, Lou Dobbs. Financial manager Marcus Schrenker’s apparent 명백한 plan to disappear was elaborate 정교한, 정성들인 to say the least 줄잡아 말해도, 적어도. Authorities believe he left Indiana, but parachuted 낙하산으로 강하하다 out of his plane over central Alabama, and landed remarkably close to a hotel where he was caught on tape checking in.

It was then just a short walk to a rented store space where he had a red motorcycle parked and waiting. He was gone before anyone got suspicious. “Well, my husband actually looked in the dumpster 대형 쓰레기 수납기. And there was his clothes. It’s crazy.” But somewhere Schrenker’s alleged 의심스러운, <증거 없이> 주장된 plan fell apart 실패로 끝나다. His plane flew pilotless for more than 200 miles before crashing in a Florida panhandle swamp 늪.

He had to know everyone would think something was up 기묘한 일이 일어났다 when rescuers found nobody. Friend Tom Britt says Schrenker sent him an email sticking to ~을 고수하다 his story that the crash was an accident that he was injured and bloody when his windshield <자동차 등의> 앞유리 imploded 내파하다. Authorities in Florida found no evidence of this. “At the end of the email, the most disturbing 불안하게 하는, 근심케 하는 part was, he said, by the time you read this, I’ll be gone. And I interpreted that as a suicide note. I think anybody would….that was the disturbing part to me.”

Complains from customers cost him license to sell insurance in Kentucky and Georgia. Charles Kinney was a former client. “He would tell the most ridiculous 어리석은, 터무니없는 stories to explain things and expect people to believe it. And it just defies 거부하다 imagination.”

Now Indiana authorities have filed two felony 중죄 charges against Schrenker. They want to take away his license there. “If these allegations are true, he is clearly a crudball 싫은 녀석. Because anyone that would do this to their friends and neighbors and be so brash 무모한, 뻔뻔스러운 about it deserves the full penalty 형벌 that's coming to them.” But first, they have to catch him. US Marshals 미 연방 보안관 are taking over the search for the man whose high-flying lifestyle could’ve given him many familiar places to run. David Mattingly, CNN, Atlanta.
