Overseas, it’s summer in Australia and the southern part of the country has been devastated 황폐시키다 by wild fires. Today authorities said some may be arson. Entire villages were wiped out northeast of Melbourne as strong winds spread the flames. More than 170 people have been killed. Dozens of others are missing and more than 750 homes destroyed. Berry Peterson has the latest.
A national tragedy has hit Australia where wild fires have killed at least 130 people. That number is expected to grow. Entire towns have burned to the ground throughout the state of Victoria as triple digit temperatures and strong winds push the flames. Some fires are still burning. Reporter Eddy Myer from Australia’s Channel 10 News has more.
It’s struck with a speed and ferocity that took everyone by surprise and defied 좌절시키다, 도전하다 even the worst predictions.
