한국 프랑스와 1:1 무승부

France had an early goal in the first half thanks to Thierry Henry, but Korea’s Park Ji Sung grabbed an equalizer 동점이 되는 득점 in late second half. Koreans both at home and abroad are celebrating, as they were happy to even tie <경기·선거 등에> 상대편 동점 되다 with the European soccer powerhouse, France. As for the French, the result was upsetting 당황하게 하는 as the team failed to win a pivotal 중요한 game in the World Cup.

 

Despite the odd hour of the game which kicked off 시작하다 at 4 in the morning here, hundreds of thousands of Korean soccer fans gathered at designated 지정된 areas throughout the country to root for 응원하다 their national team. In front of Seoul’s City Hall alone, some 100,000 fans, all clad 입은 in their signature color red, have congregated 군집하다.

 

Transport authorities here have come up with 제안하다 measures to deal with Monday morning traffic. That’s expected to be particularly heavy in the areas where the soccer fans gathered. Buses operating in the area will be run frequently and a few more trains will be added to several subway lines in Seoul.
