New View on China by the Secretary of State Hillary Clinton

Good morning,  it’s Monday Feb 23rd from CBS News in New York. I’m Meg Oliver. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is back in the US after wrapping up끝내다 her Asia tour with a visit to China. As CBS’s Wide Andrews reports, her message to Beijing on human rights was much different than it was the first time.

As Secretary Clinton met the Chinese leadership, it was clear the Obama administration sees China more as an ally! “The US is committed to 전념하는 pursuing a positive cooperative relationship with China… “to deepen and broaden that relationship…. work together… collaborate…pursues 따르다, common interest, act in concert 행동을 같이하다” Not as a competitor or adversary 적, 반대자. She specifically asked China for help with Iran, North Korea, global warming and a worldwide fiscal 재정상의 meltdown.

Good morning everyone some rough weather in parts of the northeast this morning. Blizzard like conditions in parts of Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. Gas prices are up another 3 cents a gallon in last two weeks according the LUMBERG survey. If finds the average for regular is now a dollar 94 a gallon. And a dramatic rescue at sea on Sunday. The Canadian coastguard saved all 22 people from a fishing boat that caught fire and then sank. Some of them had already jumped overboard before help eventually arrived.
