Well this story made headlines in today’s papers. Slumdog Millionaire won big at the Academy Awards taking home 8 Oscars including best picture. TV ratings were up 6 percent over last year, an estimated 36 million viewers tuned in last night! GIIHO HORN best song was performed both on stage in
Can you blame them? More than 36 million Americans decided last night. They needed a break from the economy! And so they tuned in to the Academy awards. By the way, that audience about 4 million over last year, which was the smallest Oscar audience ever. And the viewer witnessed a big night for a little movie that proved, it could. “And the Oscar goes to Slumdog millionaire… Slumdog millionaire” The 8 Oscar statues for Slumdog millionaire are as improbable 사실 같지 않은 as the winning street that’s at the center of the movie. “You’re absolutely right!” Slumdog millionaire tells the story of an 18 year old orphan from Mumbai slums! “When we started out, we had no stars, we had no power or muscle. We didn’t have enough money! Its child stars not professional actors but plugged from the slums where they still live and only flown to Oscars at the last minute. “It’s unbelievable, we never came to Oscars.” To understand just how unbelievable this story is, you have to go back to Slumdog’s initial screening, here in
