Good evening, KITTY is off tonight! New Mexico has become just the second state to ban the death penalty in the last 30 years. Governor Bill Richardson signed the bill last night and several others are thinking about it! As Ben Trace reports, the key issue isn’t justice, it’s the budget!

Now, it’s being shut down! “Innocent people have been put on death row all across the country!” But lawmakers say there is another reason… the cost!
