Pueblo school board has been reaching out to some of the more than 60 school districts that are already on the 4-day week in the state. In rural시골 Limon, Colorado, schools went to a 4-day week 3 years ago with overwhelming community support. "It gave us a chance to have a day if we needed to make a doctor's appointment or something that we could do it without pulling them out of school.”
Parents rely on family and friends for day care. The costs are down 10%. Morale사기 and attendance are up. Limon's standardized test results remain above average. At a time when the President is calling for more quality hours in the classroom, many in the education field say a 4-day week is all wrong.
