Hi, everybody? Welcome to the Wall Street Journal Report. Happy Mother’s Day! I’m Maria Bartiromo.

Stress over Bank Stress Test? Worry over job’s numbers! But more green shoots(경기회복이나 발전의 조짐)! Growing in the economy and the markets! What does it all mean? DO you HULU? We’ll meet one man who says you should! And it’s future of television! The CEO of the website where you can find most any TV program! And can your personal finances pass a stress test just like the banks? How much cash should you have on hand? How much debt is OK? We’ll have all the answers. The Wall Street Journal begins right now! This is America’s number one financial news program! The Wall Street Journal report! Now Maria Bartiromo.

Here is a look at what’s making news as we head into new week on Wall Street! The economy lost 539,000 jobs in the month of April! Fewer than what economists had estimated! That sent the unemployment rate up to 8.9 percent! That’s the highest level since 1983. A total of 13.7 million Americans are now without work! But the rate of job cuts appears to be slowing!

The battle for television viewers has moved from the TV set to your computer. One of on-line video’s biggest growth stories is HULU.COM. A free site offering movies and TV shows soon from three of the four broadcast television networks.

Let us know what’s your in mind! We love hearing from you! Email me anytime Maria@wjsreport.com. And for more on our program and our quests, check out the website wsjr.cnbc.com. If you missed anything, you will be able to see the full interviews with our quests, beginning on Monday! Now look at the stories coming up in the week ahead that may move the markets and impact your money this upcoming week! And a number of retailers report their earnings including Dow Components, Wall Mart as well as JCPenney and KOHL’s and Macys!

On Tuesday, the international trade balance will tell us whether US imports and exports have increased or decreased. On Wednesday, the commerce department reports retail sales for the month of April. And then on Thursday, we’ll get the release of the producer price index(생산자물가지수), the PPI, measures the cost of goods at the wholesale level. On Friday, we get the follow up on the monthly consumer price index which measures the cost of consumer goods and services, a key indicator, of course, of inflation!
