From ABC News world headquarters in New York, this is World News Now. And we have more overseas 해외의 news this morning, or at least a note 주의, 유의 for those of us in America heading overseas. There’s a new travel guide that’s trying to shatter 파괴하다 the stereotype 고정관념 abroad of the ugly American by offering advice on how to act when a guest in other nations. In our GMA <ABC 방송사의 아침프로> Good Morning America playback segment 단편 this morning, ABC’s Nick Watt reports from London.

 

By the gates of Buckingham Palace, a mingling 섞다, 혼합하다 mass 집단 of tourists from around the world. But do Americans really need guidelines for visiting London. More than 2 million of you come here every year. We speak a common language, ‘I’m British, you’re American’, I hope we understand each other. But visiting London may not be the problem.

 

According to Ryan Hart’s research, only 17% of the French give Americans a positive rating. “In France, I spoke Russian only, just so people wouldn’t know I was American.” The guide might change all that. The key message? Be American when you’re overseas just not quite so American. Nick Watt, ABC News, London.
