Well, let’s take a look at the international weather picture now. Let’s go to Jennifer Delgado at the world weather center. And Jen? Stormy weather here especially here in London last night. Yeah, you did pick up some rainfall yesterday, but the good news is you’re going to be drying out today, but severe weather chance looks like through Europe. Now let me show you the area that we’re watching. We’re talking all the way from Spain through France all along the Mediterranean Sea. We’re going to step in today for some severe storms. And that means some of these storms are going to be producing some gusty winds as well as really heavy rain. But the big problem area right in the red right through central and southern portions of Italy. You’re in that high risk of category. And this is going to stick around all the way through Thursday morning, but it’s also over towards the east. And that includes Albania as well as Macedonia. So be prepared for some afternoon storm potentially getting strong and the same even for northern Africa.

 

And as I mentioned, some of these storms will produce some heavy rainfall. We have this area little pressure and it’s spinning a little bit over towards the west. But it’s going to be pouring in that moisture. If you see anything in the blue, you’re going to look at the potential scene some areas picking up about 11cm of rainfall. Even more if you get some of those downpours coming with some of those isolated storm systems.

 

Now across Asia, we are watching a typhoon. And this is Choi One. And notice right now here is Guam. So Guam avoiding a direct hit by this typhoon. This is a super typhoon. But they certainly have been feeling the effects with strong waves as well as some rainfall. That storm system will continue to push off towards the northwest and then we’re going to see a cold front sweeping through just in time. And that’s going to push that system right back into the Pacific Ocean, then it’ll eventually start to weaken as it encounters cooler waters. But notice the winds. 259 km per hour. That’s a sustained winds with gust up to 315. This is the strongest storm. We’ve seen in the pacific as well as the Atlantic Ocean for the tropical seasons. So this is a big bad storm system.
