On the broadcast tonight, a surprise prize for the president. The Nobel peace prize out of nowhere and now the reaction. A rapid rise to report tonight in swine flu cases around this country and troubling news about the toll on children. Shooting the moon. Good evening. The president was awakened at 6 AM and told he had just won the Nobel peace prize.
It was a stunner기절시키는 일격 at came out of nowhere. It is not the kind of thing he had applied for nor did he know he was nominated. One White House staffer said he had to make sure this wasn’t April 1st. A writer for TIME magazine calls it the last thing the president needs. It happened so fast and was so unexpected. The White House had to figure out what to say. It’s also one of the last remaining towering honors on earth. We start off our coverage tonight with our chief foreign affairs correspondent Andrea Mitchell in Washington. A lot to say tonight. Andrea?

Our person of the week. From ABC News headquarters, this is World News with Charles Gibson.
Good evening. It is hard to overstate과장하여 말하다 the near universal surprise at today’s award of the Nobel peace prize to president Obama. Even the audience gathered in Oslo for the announcement was stunned. “President Barack Obama.” “To be honest, I do not feel that I deserve to be in the company of so many of the transformative변화시키는 figures who’ve been honored by this prize.”
“This is….not how I expected to wake up this morning.” The president wakes up to the surprising news that he’s won the Nobel peace prize. “This award must be shared with everyone who strives애쓰다 for justice and dignity존엄.”
But the choice is controversial. Some asking what has the president done to deserve it? I’m Katie Couric. Also tonight, the flu is spreading. More states report outbreaks of H1N1 hitting children especially hard.
