Good evening? These are tough times for American automakers and for Ford Motor Company, and especially its workers. The situation just got even tougher. Today, the company announced a huge cut in production, the biggest in more than 20 years. The announcement came only months after a previous cutback <인원·생산 등의> 축소, 삭감 that was supposed to ease 완화시키다, 덜다 its financial problems.
Here’re the numbers tonight. Ford will slash production by 21% this fall, that’s about 168,000 vehicles.
