(정치) 사상 최초 논쟁 생중계  : 대통령 vs 야당의원

On our broadcast tonight, question time. It was a first President Obama on live TV, no script, taking on겨루다 the party that opposes him on almost everything. Good evening. The other night during his state of the union speech, the President called out질타하다 congress for bad behavior and for our poisoned political era.

He included his own mistakes and promised to talk to the other side. Well, today he went to the other side of meeting of republicans televised live where he took their questions and defended his own position and no one who was watching had ever seen anything like it before. “I don’t believe that the American people want us to focus on our job security. They want us to focus on their job security.”

President Obama goes toe-to-toe정면으로 맡서다 with a room full of Republican Congressmen with the cameras rolling. Good evening. We begin with something that has never been seen before. The President of the United States questioned in public by his congressional opponents with the cameras rolling. It happened at a retreat조용한 of House Republicans who invited the President to speak.

They probably did not expect their guests who speak as frankly as he did.

Tonight, the President takes on his Republican opponents face to face and fact by fact. “That’s factually just not true. And you know it’s not true.” In his state of the union, President Obama called on Democrats and Republicans to work out their differences. Today, they hashed논의하여 결론을 내다 them out at an extraordinary meeting in Baltimore. The Democratic President was invited to appear at a gathering of House Republicans and he accepted. He started by addressing them, and then he debated them. Chip Reid is at the White House. And Chip? We’ve never seen a face-off quite like this between a President and members of the opposition party. That’s right, Katie. It was extraordinary. And it was a command performance어전 공연 by the President. In fact, some Republicans are wondering if they made a mistake by allowing TV cameras in the room.

House Republicans welcomed the President with a standing ovation기립박수 and went out of their way to set a respectful tone. “Mr. President. We really are grateful that you’ve come.” The questions, though, went straight to the heart of their fundamental disagreements. He blamed them for destroying any real chance of working together. “You’ve given yourselves very little room to work in a bipartisan fashion초당적으로. Because what you’ve been telling your constituents선거권 주민 is, this guy’s doing all kinds of crazy stuff that’s going to destroy America.”
