(긴급) 자살 비행

Tonight, on World News. Rampage. A man crashes his plane into a Texas building apparently furious at the IRS. We have the fire, the rescues and the latest from the FBI. From the global resources of ABC News, this is ABC World News with Diane Sawyer. Good evening. A man in Austin, Texas used a single engine plane as a weapon today. He was apparently enraged격분하다 at the government over his tax problems.

He crashed the plane into the second floor of an office building where 200 IRS employees worked. Afterwards, authorities found a long online diatribe통렬한 비판 believed to be written by the pilot Joseph Stack against what he called “Mr. Big Brother IRS man.” We have the very latest details on a day filled with sudden terror and courageous rescues from Ryan Owen who was on the scene. Ryan?

Good evening, Diane. When look at the site of that building and you know this man planned to kill a lot of people. He certainly did a lot of damage. But the human toll I have to tell you it is remarkably low. Tonight there are two people in the hospital, two unaccounted for, one of them a federal employee, the other that pilot.

All anyone knew it was a plane had hit. All anyone could think was it had happened again. President Obama was briefed by his top counter terrorism advisor. Two F-16 fighter jets were scrambled. Soon enough, investigators determined it wasn’t terrorism. He took from a small airport north of Austin at 9:44 this morning. His single engine plane full of fuel.

Just 15 minutes later, investigators believe he intentionally crashed into the second and third floors of that office building. Home to nearly 200 employees of the Inter Revenue Service. The fireball left many trapped screaming for help through shattered windows. Glass workers Robin Dehaven was driving by. Before emergency vehicles got there, he used his ladder to rescue a half dozen victims. “They say I don’t know who you are, but thanks for coming.”

The pilot has been identified as 56-year-old Andrew Joseph Stack, a father, software engineer and experienced pilot. Investigators believe he began this day by burning his home to the ground. But it appears he did leave something behind. Federal investigators reporting over a rambling횡설수설하는 six page note posted online this morning on a website registered to Stack’s name.

It lists today as the date of his death and chronicles years of struggle with the federal government in general, the IRS in particular. The posting concludes ‘I am finally ready to stop this insanity미친 . Well, Mr. Big Brother IRS man, let’s try something different; take my pound of flesh and sleep well.’
